(OP)
Found this site trying to find examples for asce 7 -05 hip roof greater than 27 degrees.

read this post  thread507-165141: ASCE7-05 Components and Cladding Pressure Coefficients wanted to see if any further information out there?  Thanks!

I am designing a wood frame structure, hip roof with 12:12 and 18:12 roof pitches.  ASCE7-05 Figure 6-11c gives component and cladding external pressure coefficients for gable and hip roofs up to 27 degrees and Figure 6-11d for gable roofs between 27 and 45 degrees.  I see nothing for hip roofs greater than 27 degrees.  Can anyone offer any help?  I have several study guides with example problems but no one addresses hip roofs with steep slopes.

RE: asce 7-05 hip roofs .27 components and cladding

Use the 27 to 45 gable roof coefficients, but apply your endzones along each ridge in your hip.
