One of Our Fast grounding disconnects(ABB ELK-EB14)in our GIS was tried to be operated while it was in Lock position therfore the mechanisim inside is jammed in close position , we opened up the front cover and released the locked mechanisim and open the disconnect manually .is there any possiblity that the disconnect is still alright?(i can not see any physical damage)any way to test before taking all disconnect off ?

ABB's main phone number in the US is 440-585-7804. You'll have to navigate to the correct area from the menu. I believe tech support is option #4.

Wrong ABB group. GIS = Gas Insulated Switchgear, as in High Voltage (up to 300kV). The ABB switches that company would sell are a totally different division of ABB (Low Voltage), not even closely related.
