Dear colleagues,

In order to get some answers to my previous thread, I´m solving the exemples provided on SAP2000 vs12, menu HELP.

Therefore, these are my doubts:

PROBLEM L:

1- Is it the force P(t) equal to 1 because it will be multiplied by the force in each period of time of the functions, or it was just randomly chosen?

Ex: For function 1 at point b at 0,0625sec does the software assume P(t)*Force(k)?

2- Defining the Load Cases, why do we multiply the period of each one of the functions by 100?

For this especific example, the mass values were given for the joints. If we had to assume these values which values should we assume per joint?
SUM(forces/gravity) + SUM(frame masses) on the joint?
