EN13445
EN13445
(OP)
I am using EN13445-3 2002 to design a vessel - operating temp 530 deg C. I remember a section stating that designing for creep was to be incorporated in a later edition, but I can't find the paragraph now.
My question is: has design for creep now been included, else I will have to use a stainless steel for the vessel material which will increase the cost significantly.

RE: EN13445
Your design is fpr a 530C (about 986F) pressure vessel.....HHHmmmm...
What material were you going to use at this temperature that was going to be significantly cheaper than stainless steel ? Can you tell us ?
Certainly not carbon steel...........?
