ProE Wildfire zoom settings

ProE Wildfire zoom settings

(OP)
I am fairly new to Pro/E and have run into a major issue with zoom control. I'm running Wildfire 2.0.
When I'm in a sketcher mode, working on let's say a long and small diameter part with many small details, I need to be zoomed in to those small details. Whenever I modify a constrain, or a dimension of a feature and press ENTER to activate the change, screen zooms out to fit EVERYTHING on a screen. So I end up continuously zooming back in to continue working. How can I keep constant zoom level until I CHOOSE TO ZOOM OUT ???

This is a show stopper for me, would appreciate any help ...

RE: ProE Wildfire zoom settings

There is a config.pro setting for that but I don't remember what it is. Search for Sketcher_ options.

Thanks looslib.
I can't find config.pro file anywhere on my computer. However, I found "sketcher_refit_after_dim_modify" variable in "current session" file. Setting it to NO did the trick.
Appreciate it.

RE: ProE Wildfire zoom settings

Append in confi.pro

sketcher_animated_modify no

sketcher_refit_after_dim_modify no

RE: ProE Wildfire zoom settings

The default config file is stored in the Pro/Engineer Program Files subdirectory "text" and is called config.pro

You can also set your Shortcut files properties and fill in the Start in: value with the folder location you want Pro/E to load your config.pro file from and Pro/E will load those settings in on Startup.
