Specifying fluid velocity boundary conditions in ABAQUS

Specifying fluid velocity boundary conditions in ABAQUS

(OP)
Hi,

I need to apply fluid velocity BCs to a biphasic axisymmetric model I'm working on.  There doesn't seem to be any option for this however; the only fluid-related BC I can find is pore pressure.

I'm looking to achieve a specific level of fluid flow out through the edges of my model.  At first I tried using the pore pressure BC and applied the required (positive) pore pressure at the boundary.  However the program then assumed the pore pressure at the centre of the model was zero and inward fluid flow resulted.

I don't want to constrain fluid flow at the centre of the model sice the purpose of the study is to investigate what happens at the centre given these edge conditions.
