OCR-Part Text
OCR-Part Text
(OP)
Hi,
Is there a way to recognize SW part text? OCR recognizes drawing text, but can't seem to recognize part text. I'm try to do this for our nameplates on our products. The nameplates are created in the parts, and the drawing made from that. The .prt has a text functionality and assume you could do OCR when a PDF is made.
Thanks,

Certain PDF stuff is not OCR. It's actually text, exported as such during PDF creation. True OCR wouldn't know the difference between extruded text and note text, but exported-to-PDF text vs extrude geometry text is different.
