Dead ARP entries

Dead ARP entries

Dead ARP entries

(OP)
I am a tech for a local Cable Internet Service Provider.  I have been finding that some users experience Invalid or Dead ARP entries in the gateway on a regular basis, while most users never encounter it. Does anyone know why?

I am trying to figure it out, i personally think it must be hardware related, either the NIC is responding to the Gateway or DHCP incorrectly or the Cable Modem itself may be the issue.  If anyone has any idea on how to fix this, or what some possible causes are I would greatly appreciate anything you can give me.
Thanx

Jack Running.
