(OP)
I am just getting started with Ansys, my first task is to simulate our rigity tester in Ansys.  Our test is a crude machine that has a platform to hold a plastic cup, a force gauge on one side pointed at the quadrant and an air cylinder on the other (180 deg) that actuates 1/4". We fire the cylinder and recored the peak force.

I can get a simulation to run , but my results are way higher then what we are seeing from the lab tester. Currently I have the cup with PP properties, two contacts that are the contacts used on the real tester, with 1/4 displacement support on 1 contact and the other is fixed. I am using a no seperation connection.

Can someone recommend a simulation setup?
