pressure testing of glass flake lining components.

(OP)
Hi

I've been asked to review some of our testing procedures. I understand that most components are leak proof tested at 1.5 time max working pressure. ASME B31.3 states that this does not necessarily always have to be the case. Does anyone know is there is any reason in particular why glass flake lined low temperature carbon steel vessels would not be tested to the usual 1.5x.

Thanks.

RE: pressure testing of glass flake lining components.

What are the physical dimensions and and design conditions to what standard?
