Where do I find specifications for AN hardware?

Where do I find specifications for AN hardware?

I need to make a bolt that is very similar to an AN bolt (AN4-12) with a modified head. Where do I find the original specifications for the bolt?
Thank you very much for any help you may give me!

RE: Where do I find specifications for AN hardware?

Do a search on this forum.  I seem to recall one of the members uploading all of the AN specs to a site for download.  If the link is still active, you may be able to download them all...

You guys are great, thank you! I never have any luck when I search, I searched for "harware" and it said nothing matched?

RE: Where do I find specifications for AN hardware?

There are several specifications. Taking a look at MIL-B-6812B "Bolts, Aircraft" This will get you started as it lists all of the other specifications that you might need, such as dimensions, plating, testing, thread type, etc.

You can download this document from my web site: http://www.mechanicsupport.com/manuals/mil-b-6812e.pdf

RE: Where do I find specifications for AN hardware?

I happen to have all AN and MS hardware specfictions in paper.  If there was an easy way to scan and post them I would.
