Derived Parts Problem SW2009 SP2.0

Derived Parts Problem SW2009 SP2.0

Derived Parts Problem SW2009 SP2.0

(OP)
Hello

we've just made the switch over to 2009SP2.0 from 2008SP5.0 and one of our guys has found a problem very quickly

if you open a part that was 2008 that has a derived part in it, then "edit feature" of the derived part with "launch move dialog" ticked, solidworks crashes. also if you insert a part with "launch move dialog" ticked, solidworks crashes

all parts have been converted to 2009

there is no problem with new files created from scratch in 2009 or with older files that never had a derived part in them

we can get round it for the moment by having "move/copy bodies" as a seperate feature

anyone else seen this?

RE: Derived Parts Problem SW2009 SP2.0

A search of the SW Knowledge Base for launch move dialog returns several SPRs.
