RE: Hierarchy of electrical department

The products and processes your factory handles will make a big difference in the optimum department organization.

A small sawmill will have completely different systems and responsibilities then a petrochemical refinery. Tell us what  you do, how much and what types of equipment you do it with and someone may have some suitable advice.

Personally, I'm a consultant, so my company looks like:

President (Me)
Chief Engineer (Me)
Draftsman/Designer (Me)
Lab technician (Me)
Machinist (Me)
Janitor (position currently unfilled)
