(OP)
my company recently received solidworks 2009 and we are looking to upgrade our video cards i noticed on the solidworks website that the quadro fx 1400 video card is certified and searching online i have seen the card priced for under 150.00 dollars, is anyone using this card and what is the results

RE: video card

I have not used it, but if it's certified, there should not be any problems. That is...if the rest of your hardware, software, configuration, setup, etc is properly done.

RE: video card

We have those in two systems here.  They work well for us.  We typically work with what I feel are relatively small (<1000 piece) assemblies.  The first one that we got is probably close to 4 years old now.  I believe that the FX 570 is the current model in the entry - mid price range.

Stay away from the NVSs though.
