Combining 2D autocad with Inventor

Combining 2D autocad with Inventor

(OP)
Is there a good way to combined Autocad 2d drawings layout drawings with inventor? Lets say i had a very large 2d plant layout and i wanted to extrude all the material silos. Is there a good way to create my 3d and have an overlay of the plant layout? I dont want to loose all the notes, leaders and information on the layout drawing in order to do this. I would also like it if i could update the 2d autocad and have the layout update in the inventor file aswell.

Any advice on this stuff would be a great help.

Thanks
Matthew

I didnt understand all of your problem. but u can import autocad drawings in inventor as sketches. Extrude only the silos you mentioned.
