Hi all,
I'm looking for an analityc formulas that describe the propeller efficiency (eta) function of the variables J=v/nd and propulsive coefficient cp (renard). In particular i have to do with a McCauley costant speed propeller the one mounted on piper pa28r.

Check the Roskam'series books, they have good plots and data for propellers. I hope this works for you.

Yes it's for college, i have to implement a program with matlab to calculate performances of g.a. airplanes, depending on airplane geometry and propulsive characteristics, like the AAA program of darcorp.
