eDrawings; why is model / drawing green?
eDrawings; why is model / drawing green?
(OP)
using SW2006.
For an assembly, when I save as "eDrawing (*.easm)";
or for a drawing, save as "eDrawings (*edrw)"
why do the models and drawings all appear as a solid dark green color;
can't seem to find what setting changes that either in the eDrawings EModelViewer Module or when initially doing the "save as" in SW.
Does this have anything to do with having eDrawings Professional, or not?
What am I missing here?

RE: eDrawings; why is model / drawing green?
What graphics card and driver are you using?
RE: eDrawings; why is model / drawing green?
(not sure if this is driver, but found......)
nv4_mini.sys listed under the Drivers menu.
This is what I'm seeing when opening an *.easm file...hopefully the jgp shows up; 1st time for trying this

I can't see the eDrawing feature tree from your jpg file so just wondering if the part was unintentionally selected/highlighted in your eDrawing.

Also, on SW software download page, it says "eDrawings, Version 2009 , Service Pack 2.0"
Is this going to work with 2006?
RE: eDrawings; why is model / drawing green?
I had this issue before with my seat of 2006; you need to right click it in Solidworks and change transparancy back to opaque, then after saving as an Edwg, reset it to be transparent then resave the EDWG.
Just a possible reason. I know it happens on my system.
