Array in assemblies

Array in assemblies

Array in assemblies

(OP)
Hi!
Could somebody tell me if one can create an array of the inserted parts in a assembly with the mates applied to that part?

RE: Array in assemblies

Yes, while in your Assy, select Insert>Component Pattern.  From there you select the parts you want to copy, set the spacing between them (or use predefined holes) and away you go.

RE: Array in assemblies

In addition to the answer gaven by madmango:

Perhaps you could create a mirrored component, in the field: "Insert, Mirroreds Components". Then, try to reconstruct it with the option "Recreate Mates". This would create a copyied component, not a mirrored component.

My best regards.
