water heating with steam

(OP)
Good Morning. Well, i am looking for any relation or equation about the heating of water using steam in contact and mix directly . Specifically i want to know heating rate or heating time in waters vessels at atmosferic pressure. I know it`s a termodinamics and mass transfer problem, but i need the help.
thanks
e.z.

RE: water heating with steam

Do enthalpy balance to get steam requirement. If you know the steam flowrate then you can calculate the time for rising the water temperature. If you know the time for rising water temperature then calculate steam flowrate.

This steam/water property calculator Steamtab will be very handy.

Thanks a Lot Mr. Quark for your time and help.
I will do the balance with enthalpy.
