Glulam Shear Design and CSA-S6-06

Glulam Shear Design and CSA-S6-06

(OP)
I'm looking for some information from someone familiar with the CSA-S6-06 Highway Bridge Design Code, specifically the design of glulam beams. I'm in the process of trying load rate a 40-year-old glulam structure and our client has asked us to rate it according to the new code.

Looking for some guidance on how to deal with section 9.7.3 on shear force and shear load. The formula for shear resistance of glulam differs for The CAN/CSA-086.1 Engineering Design of Wood Code namely the shear load coefficient seems to be incorporated into section 9.7.3.

Can anyone direct me to an example of how to calculate shear capacity of a glulam beam greater then 2 m3 under the CSA-S6-06?
