Supply air tempering

(OP)
How much % of total sensible heat is required for tempering capacity? I add a 0.5C from cooling coil leaving temperature as my tempering coil entering temperature.

RE: Supply air tempering

When the two coils are in proximity, 0.5C pick up is difficult.

In your example, high latent load condition follows 0.77 SHR line. Now, after plotting the coil leaving condition, draw a horizontal line (constant humidity ratio since it is sensible heating) till it touches the 0.77 SHR line. Note the DB at the junction. The sensible heat difference between the junction and the coil leaving condition gives you the amount of reheat.

Try to formulate it and we will correct if needed.
