I am always on the look out for new resources at my new job My other previous jobs didn't have me required to find quick answers like yesterday. Not promoting the web site or anything but has any body found this efunda helpful. we are a very small company, I am talking 8 in total of personnel. I have seen this web site offers calculations, simple one maybe like orifice sizing and stuff.

Please let me know if you think investing in this is worth while.

Thanks a bunch.

RE: efunda membership

Everything there can be found in texts in much more detail.
If you are talking about their calculators for beams and such for example you could write your own simple programs to perform the exact same thing with zero cost.
just a thought,

peace

Fe

RE: efunda membership

I used to be a member.  As an individual, it got too pricey, but I found it useful.

Fe is right about the amount of detail.  Still, often it's good to have a starting point.

thanks guys.

We are always in fire fighting mode and don't have the luxury of time on our hands to go thru text books. We look for instant googratification.

Ah, the old "we don't have time to do it right, but we always make time to do it twice" problem.
