design wind speed on Long Island, Bahamas
(OP)
Does anyone know the design wind speed on Long Island in the Bahamas? I've googled, searched the Bahamas government website, and called, all to no avail.

At least this give you a defensible reference, though you might want to err on the conservative side...for instance Long Island is partly at the 130 mph isotach, so 140 or 150 would be appropriate.
I tried to upload my copy of the pdf file, but it wouldn't take it so I'm providing a link for you to download the file...good luck.
