We are planning to retube a very old steam condenser of German make. The tube specs is SO,MS 71 F 38  with 0.04% arsenic with 23 od and 1mm thk. Can somebody suggest me it's equivalent in ASTM?

Thanks in advance.

leganti;
I could not find these tube specs in my reference material on hand. Based on your description, metal-containing arsenic and function/size, this sounds to me like an inhibited Admiralty brass alloy. This material is very common for steam condensers in Power Plants.

If this is indeed brass condenser tubing, an ASTM equivalent would be ASTM B111, inhibited Admiralty brass (C44300).

Thank you for the suggestion. In fact, this is a 1956 Siemens make 32 tph steam condenser of 1200 m2 surface area working under 0.027 ata(a) pressure. I'll check the composition of the materials you have mentioned. Thank you.
