Steel Connection Software

(OP)
I'm looking for general information on Steel connection software.  Specifically, I've been looking at Descon and Conxprt and was wondering if anyone has had good experience with either.  Or is there any other good connection software out there?  I'm not looking for the products aimed at fabricators for drafting/detailing, only primarily design type software.

RE: Steel Connection Software

Check PROKON Software, they have a fairly good steel connections software. It is based on BS and South African Standards.

I am in the U.S. and interested in U.S. based AISC products.

RE: Steel Connection Software

Check their site at www.prokon.com
It seems that some of their design modules support AISC, and ACI codes.

RE: Steel Connection Software

CSC has a new moment connection design program to AISC.  Their website is www.cscworld.com.
