Motion Simulator Always Hangs

Motion Simulator Always Hangs

Motion Simulator Always Hangs

(OP)
I'm trying to get an assembly to work in COSMOSmotion and it always hangs but not always at the same spot. I have an oscillating load driving a screw mate which in turns spins one of two rotors (springs are also involved). I've tried everything, decreasing the accuracy all the way, changing the Jacobian, WSTIFF, etc... and I've tried different starting positions. I know the motion works because it's gone all the way through a few times (but I had to make edits to the design). But it just always seems to get some kind of error message.

Could someone help me?

RE: Motion Simulator Always Hangs

Have you tried running the Task Manager at the same time you run the study? And if so, are you paging out when the problem occurs? Are you using 100% of your CPU when this happens? Do other assemblies have this problem, or only this one?
