Ride on Power Trowel

Ride on Power Trowel

Ride on Power Trowel

(OP)
I have used a walk behind trowel before. I am going to start using a ride on trowel and was wondering when I should start floating. I am using combination blades, I do not have a float pan so I will be floating with the blades. It is an indoor pour with a controlled temperature of around 65F. Any advice I could get would be appreciated. Thanks.

RE: Ride on Power Trowel

Equipment is only slightly heavier in footprint than walk-behind because blade span is larger.  You should be able to get on the concrete in about the same time as walk-behind.  Note that ride-on will burnish the concrete more than a walk-behind
