Someone recommends the use of PIPE LONGITUDINAL SEAM to the following conditions:

Design Pressure: 1500 psi
Gas volume: 1500 MMPCND
H2S: 12 ppm
CO2: 7-8% molar
H2O: 5 lb / MMPCND
Material pipe: API 5L X70

with the conditions mentioned above, there is someone to recommend the use of pipes with longitudinal seams?

Welded API 5LX-70 is most often specified for similar service conditions.

I would recommend it provided that you have a suitable specification and go to a suitable pipe mill!
