NACE MR0175 - 2002 vs 2003

NACE MR0175 - 2002 vs 2003

NACE MR0175 - 2002 vs 2003

(OP)
I have an old supplier that has been producing NACE MR0175 valves for a long time. Until now I had never known there were 2 different versions. If I am using WCB castings with API trim 12, what is different between the 2 versions?

I'm guessing it will have something to do the time or temp of heat of treatment or something to do with welding; but that's just a guess.
My supplier is gonna let me know which version, but I still want to know the differences.

thanks!

RE: NACE MR0175 - 2002 vs 2003

Depending upon the application people also use another NACE Standard MR0103.  MR0175 (ISO 15156-1) 2001 (my copy was published 2005) is used upstream and MR0103 2005 is used in refining.
