Flow rate device

Flow rate device

(OP)
I'd like to know if anyone has some experience regarding equipment for measurement of flow rate on small stream.

The device is to be installed (probably in a culvert) and we're looking for continuous recording of the flow rate.
Ice could be a concern.

I know there's a lot of products on the market.
Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks

RE: Flow rate device

try bureau of reclamation water measurement manual.  You may want to try an ultrasonic meter to measure and record the water level in your weir or flume.

I see there's a lot of instrumentation available of there.
Thanks for the valuable information.
