Multi-(sp)line Perimeter of a UV Lofted Surface

Multi-(sp)line Perimeter of a UV Lofted Surface

Multi-(sp)line Perimeter of a UV Lofted Surface

(OP)
Hi,

I created a UV lofted surface with spline U's and straight
wire V's.  No problem.  Next, I need to create a 'cut-out'
of that surface that is irregularly shaped using splines,
fillets and line wires.  I can't use 'amplane' because I
need the surface to undulating.  I can't use UV loft with
the closed set of wires because I have too many wires.

Basically, I need a complex curvilinear surface with a
goofy perimeter.  I can get the cuvilinear surface but not
the perimeter.

Thanks if anyone has any suggestions.  I would appreciate
it.

...BTW, I tried to extract the desired surface area by
using the intersect surface command to cut away the portion
of the surface I wanted to remain.  However, I am using some
tight fillets in the polyline which Mech Desktop doesn't
seem to like.

Thanks again.
