Wiring up/down switch to electric motor

(OP)
I have a leeson 1 hp reversible single phase and besam switch

wires coming out of motor are p1 p2 and t1 from thermal switch, and t4, t5, t8 from motor.

From the switch, black, red, orange, white and of course, green.
up down switch seems to work as follows
up - white has power when connected to red
down - White has power when connected to black & red  or
orange has power when connected to black & red

if i connect p1-black,  p2-white,  t4&t8-red, t5-thermalswitch t1 it goes clockwise,
if i reverse T5 & T8 the motor reverses
