Broken View in Drafting for NX5

Broken View in Drafting for NX5

Broken View in Drafting for NX5

(OP)
I have a long piece that I am needing to apply a broken view in order to fit the desired format.  The problem that I am having is applying the same broken view to both the front and top view.  Is there an easy way to do this?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

lurks

RE: Broken View in Drafting for NX5

Lurks,

Still NX-4?

If I correctly understand it you have a shaft for example which is quite long so you create a broken view based on the top view. What it would now be convenient to do is throw off an orthographic view with is also broken.

The only way I know of doing so is to do each separately. It seems like it would be nice to accomplish what you describe but it is perhaps too much for the system to assume.

Best Regards
