I'm doing the tutorials in the SW2009 I'm at the section where you import a autocad file and convert into 3D.  I did everything it said but I cant delete any entities without deleting the whole drawing.. in autocad this was because it was a block and had to be exploded.  is that along the same lines in SW.

"Delete all the sketch entities except the upper cross-section and the line beneath it, as shown. Be sure to delete the entities in the upper cross-section shown on the right"

this is the quote I'm getting but i cant just delete one entitie without deleting the whole drawing.

What am I doing wrong?

RE: Going threw the Tutor's

Are the lines blue when you try to select and delete?

If not you have somehow closed the sketch. In this state, when a single element is selected, the whole sketch is affected.

cheers

yes the lines are blue and still cant delete one at a time; the whole drawing is being deleted.

"Click View, Sketch Relations to clear the display of sketch relations icons in the graphics area."

what does this mean?
