Hi All,

I have a working model which achieves convergence, but I keep getting multiple convergence iterations on some load steps.
XX  U-P ELEMENTS DO NOT SATISFY THE VOLUMETRIC COMPATIBILITY

Is there anything I can do here aside from just stepping the load smaller?  Small load steps work fine, but I dont want to have to take 1000 substeps!

Thanks

RE: U-P elements

I don't understand your question. Your model is running multiple iterations per load step? Is it converging?
If its converging, is your questions just how to reduce the number of necessary iterations per load step?

The model "converges" multiple times per substep.  However after each convergence it will say XX elements do not satisfy the volumetric compatability.

I see the "<<<CONVERGED" as many as 8 times before it bisects.  It just continues to solve.  I even watch the GST and I see the lines cross but the solution continues to solve way below the criterion line.  To clarify, this is PER substep.
