Service Packs

(OP)
Can anyone tell me where I can get Solid Works Service packs. We have not installed any service packs as yet and have been told that we have to install the first one and then follow with each consecutive one after that.

I need SP14 as I am led to believe that it sorts some problems with XP. Will I have to install all service packs before 14. Could take some time.

Thankyou

RE: Service Packs

You should have no problem logging on to the subscription service [ http://www.solidworks.com/ ] and downloading SW2001 SP14. I am curious as to why you would not upgrade to Plus? The upgrade packages are available to upgrade from any installed level to the current. For a price . . .

RE: Service Packs

Your can download the entire range of service paks all at once, or do them one at a time or in any group as long as they are consecutive. ie. SP1 thru SP4, SP5, SP6 thru 11 etc.

I would recommend you always keep a copy of the entire service pak file (as 1 file)in case you ever have to reload SolidWorks. It faster and simpler.

RE: Service Packs

Thanks

Passed this info onto our IT administrator. It turns out we are running SP13 but he hasn't had a chance to upgrade to SP14. Takes a long time to get anything done around here.

Thankyou once again.
