Matching valves to flanges

(OP)
Any problems/issues with clamping a lugged pattern b'fly valve between a flat face GRP flange on one side and a composite weld neck flange in CuNi on the other ?
i am trying to connect a fire fighting skid with all CuNi pipework to a GRP fire main. My contract terminates at the valve face but i am concerned that the GRP flange might crack when the client tries to connect up.

RE: Matching valves to flanges

Get the right bolt tension table for GRP.

Greetings

RE: Matching valves to flanges

wouldn't a dresser or other type of more flexible coupling be a better way to connect a portable skid to a fixed fire line?
