Insufficient memory error

Insufficient memory error

Insufficient memory error

(OP)
This is just a general question.
Has anyone been having problems with SW-any version giving insufficient memory errors.
I currently have 2GB of ram and my VM is increased to 4X my actual memory.
Besides trying to go to a 64bit system, which will require me to use two computers for everyday activities, I'm banging my head against the wall.

Any comments?

If first you do succeed...try something harder.

CorBlimeyLimey,

That looks like a good reference.  I have done this boot.ini switch, and it works like a charm!  I found out about it after searching Google for SolidWorks, large asesmblies.

RE: Insufficient memory error

I have 4GB of RAM and SP2 and I have problems with crashes and near crashes do to lack of memory, so now I make it a point to reboot SW at noon and I have not had to many problems sense doing that.  I is much better than 2006 was where I lost a lot of stuff and crashed do to memory several times a day.  Those were do to memory leaks and SW finally admited it to me.  FYI.
