In a draft file the contour lines of a broken out section (view) are always as thick as the contour lines of the model. In essence very logical.
However, is there a way to change this? Let's just say I want the lines to be phantom lines

RE: linetype edge broken out section view

Evert,

when doing the sketch for the broken out section profile
within the ribbon bar you find a pulldwon to change
the line type (next to Finish)

Hi dy,

That I know. I might have been not clear.

What I actually want is to change the line type of the contour lines of the finished broken out section view.

RE: linetype edge broken out section view

Evert,

got it now. AFAIK it's the same line style that is used
for the drawing. So changing this will change all the
lines (view --> Properties --> Display --> Visible edge style
But you may check this
- selecet the view that contains the BOSV
  - RMB --> Draw in View
--> select the function 'Edge Painter'
-> in the RibbonBar select 'User defined Edges'
set the activated Pulldown to the style you want
and then select the lines to change
    when finished --> Return
