Ending PhotoView 360 Session

Ending PhotoView 360 Session

Ending PhotoView 360 Session

(OP)
Greetings all,

In the last day I have started to use PhotoView 360 and have been amazed at how much I get for so little effort.  However, I cannot end a session or pick another SWX file to render without forcing an end to the PV360 session through the Windows Task Manager.  I am on SP2.0 for both SWX09 and PV360.  Have any of you experienced the same thing or have suggestions (besides use PhotoWorks instead)?

Thanks in advance,

RE: Ending PhotoView 360 Session

Are you using PhotoView while you have the files open in SW. This is a no no. I close down SW before using PV.

haven't seen your issue and I am on SP2.

rfus,

Thanks for looking at this.  I was not aware about running them separately.  When I just shut down SWX and then ran PV360 I got the same result; easy to use, but impossible to close or exit without Task Manager.

Does PV360 close through normal actions for you?

no problem closing with the x in right hand corner, or file close...

try a repair or reinstall? AV off? recommended GC drivers?

RE: Ending PhotoView 360 Session

Usually I close by hitting the "X" in the upper right or File-> Close scene. I often leave the model open in SW at the same time, although this prevents saving any "Appearances" that you apply in PV.

Of course, sometimes PV often decides to close itself...
