(OP)
I am looking for guidelines on Cosmetology exhaust.  Does anyone know where look?  I have checked ASHRAE handbook and IMC 2003 and Texas Dept of Licensing Requirments with no success.

RE: Cosmetology Exhaust Requirments

New requirements exist in the 2006 IMC.

RE: Cosmetology Exhaust Requirments

ASHRAE 62 shows recommended ventilation rates (fresh air) of 20 cfm /person + 0.12 cfm / ft2 for Beauty and Nail Salons.

I'm guessing that the contaminents are similar.

Industrial hygienist may have more guidelines on contaminent control.
