I am seeking a manufacturer of a francis turbine for use on the brine stream of a desalination plant. Materials of construction need to be super duplex stainless steel or cupro nickel.

Flow rate 1.9m3/s head 60m.

I googled Francis turbine and got a good response - might be worth checking further.

Artisi,

Had beeen doing a google search for months. Most leads faultered on the materials required for brine .

RE: Francis Turbine on Brine Application

Have used Cd4Mcu on brine concentrator pump units previously, this were 24" end suction units, I read your post as looking for a manufacturer which I guess is the first step and would think that materials wouldn't be a problem with a large manufacturer. Unfortunately I have no direct experience with Francis turbine and the 2 links given were off the top of my head as likely source.
