Pile load test

Pile load test

(OP)
Hi colleges,
I am trying to find suitable load test method for auger cast pile bearing on sand and granular material. and the piles were designed for skin friction and endbearing. throughout the pile lenth we mainly have sand and silty san mix.
I have suggested Cyclic method but the contractor wants to go with quick test method, and based on ASTM D1143, I think we can compromize to Maintained test method.
If anybody had experienc please advise me.
I really appreciate your help.

RE: Pile load test

Use D1143, load it in 4 increments to 2x design, hold 24 hours, decrement in  2 decrements, check rebound after 24 hours.
