incorrect surface for my grading object

(OP)

I created a grading surface and the edge of the surface where the surface ties into the existing is not correct.  How do I move my grading surface around?

RE: incorrect surface for my grading object

andrew,

It sounds like you are using a specific software product.  Which one is a mystery to us reading.  It would probably be most productive to put your post in the forum for that software product if your question is related to that product (if you are using Autocad...there is an Autocad forum).

RE: incorrect surface for my grading object

Are you using Civil 3D?

RE: incorrect surface for my grading object

Your question is kind of unclear. I take it you are using Civil 3D.

You can't really move the surface or grading object around and expect the drawing to remain stable.

Assuming you graded to a surface, the interface is as literal an interpretation as the software can provide.

I would go to the autodesk website and post to the Civil 3D forum. Try to be a little more detailed. I have always found good info there.
