Schedule 40 Hastelloy Pipe Maximum Working Presurre

(OP)
Hello Everyone,
I need to verify if a Schedule 40 of a Hastelloy pipe could hold pressures higher than 1,300 psi at 150C. What would be the maximum pressure to be sustained at this temperature on this schedule? If not, could a schedule 80 do the job? Please advise. Thanks a lot.

RE: Schedule 40 Hastelloy Pipe Maximum Working Presurre

acr, acr, acr....

You must search this site for previous answers to your questions before you post.

If you did, you would find out the effects of diameter, corrosion allowance and treading allowance on the selected piping system.

(Hint: if you are dealing with a very small diameter system....then maybe..... but if the piping is pretty large....probably not)

My opinion only
