ASME PTC-18

(OP)
Does anyone have a link to a website that I can get a descriptive layout of an ASME Code hydro-test area. I've looked through ASME PTC-18-2002, and all it has is technical information and guidelines.
The company I work for builds Fluid & Heat Recovery systems such as booster pump packages and heat exchanger packages. We run-test all of our packages in-house prior to shipment, and I'm wanting to know if we can do anything to show that our tests are acceptible to ASME Code.

Thanks in advance

RE: ASME PTC-18

Try google 'vessel hydrotest procedure' or 'hydro testing', there is sufficient information to write your own specification. Also, search tool in top of the page, the key word 'hydro test' or 'hydrotest' will bring a wealth of information on this topic, previously debated on this forum.
cheers,
