Isotropic / kinematic hardening
Isotropic / kinematic hardening
(OP)
Hello
I have been searching for parameters for known type of steel for use in a non-linear analysis to make approximisations in the plastic area. As far as I have understood, the curve in the plastic area is defines as follows: σ=(1-β)Y+βEε , where β is the strain hardening factor, Y is yield stress. How is this factor (β) compared to isotropic / kinematic hardening factor? Can you choose β to be a function if the hardening factor is linear, exponential, logarithmical etc., or does another function apply to this?
Regards
