Formula for converting engineering feet to inch feet with fractions
Formula for converting engineering feet to inch feet with fractions
(OP)
Just wondering if anyone had a formula available to convert Engineering feet into regualr fractioned inch feet? i am a surveyor working with millwrights and all we use is decimal feet (100ths of a foot) and all they use is inches. Its proving to be a total nightmare and any help that is available is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Not that millwrights couldn't have an intuitive sense about metric, but I certainly don't think in metric and if I were handed a drawing in metric I'd have to convert to english before I could decide if I was looking at a skyscraper in a city or a model building for a child's toy train setup.
