Masonry Horizontal Joint Reinforcing.

When using a #9 Dur-O-Wall horizontal joint reinforcing at 16" o.c.  What are the requirements for lapping this type of reinforcing at the corners?  Is the mason supposed to buy a prefabricated corner section to use in these locations or is lapping allowed?

I can't seem to find any requirement in ACI 530.1.

Lap ends of reinforcement 6". It is common to cut the interior wire and field bend the continuous reinforcement at corners.
