What is the best way to create custom title blocks and borders that can be loaded with page setup (Script files)?

RE: Create custom title blocks and borders

I believe you can modify the existing ones.

RE: Create custom title blocks and borders

yes, goto Edit> Sheet Background. click on Frame and Title block. Here you can create and resize Title blocks based on the default CATscripts included with CATIA. If you have the skills and patience, you can modify the the VB script to your liking.

RE: Create custom title blocks and borders

Hi,

Yes, you need patient, I've create one for my company (just A0 format), which is a little bit more sophisticated nut its not so difficult...

As a suggestion, you can start from an existing one, creating points at each beginning and ending line, take the coordinate and create in vb lines, circles, a.s.o.

Or you can create your own drawing start template with specific title block and frame without any scripting...

Fernando
